Lou's blog: Portland, Oregon, United States; I was born at Powell Ranger Station, Idaho. It is near the Montana border in the Bitterroot Mountains. I was there while going to Yellowstone in 1994. I cannot imagine anyone being born there. My father and mother lived there in a trailer because was a logger. It was on part of the Lewis & Clark Trail...hence my name...Lewis Clark Escasga. My father was originally name Escarcega, but he changed it because it was too hard to spell or pronounce. Either one is easy for me to say. My early childhood was in Orofino, Idaho on the Clearwater River.
